Advanced AML · Customer Due Diligence · Rule-Driven

Rule-driven advanced AML,
from identity to enhanced due diligence.

One flow that takes a customer from first contact to a fully documented due-diligence decision: identity, company, signing authority, TIN, sanctions and PEP, governed by a configurable rules engine, with enhanced screening through LSEG and Moody's, including bring-your-own-licence (BYOL). Pricing per quote.

Why it matters

Due diligence is a decision, not a lookup.

Fragmented checks fail audits

Identity in one tool, company data in another, screening in a third: regulators see gaps between them. A single evidenced flow removes the seams where risk hides.

Risk-based means rules

AMLD and FATF require a risk-based approach: different customers, different depth. That takes an engine that applies your policy consistently, not analysts improvising per case.

Your data licences should travel

Many institutions already license LSEG (World-Check) or Moody's screening data. With BYOL, WeVerify plugs your existing licence into the flow instead of selling you the data twice.

How it works

Six steps to a documented decision.

1. Verify the individual

NFC passport or ID chip reading plus certified biometric liveness establishes who the person is, at government-proof level.

2. Verify the company

Live public-record lookups confirm the company exists, is active and is correctly registered, with UBO identification.

3. Confirm signing authority

WeVerify checks that the verified individual is genuinely authorised to act on behalf of the verified company: mandate, role and registry position.

4. Validate the TIN

Personal and company tax identification numbers are checked for syntax, checksum and, where available, a live registry match.

5. Screen sanctions and PEP

The verified identity is screened against all known public sanctions records and a baseline PEP check, with transliteration-aware matching.

6. Apply advanced rules

Your due-diligence policy runs as configurable rules: risk scoring, enhanced PEP and sanctions screening via LSEG and Moody's, escalation paths and ongoing monitoring, each decision documented.

Capabilities

An engine, not a checkbox.

Configurable rules engine

Encode your risk policy: thresholds by customer type, jurisdiction and product; automatic clearance for low risk; escalation to enhanced due diligence when rules fire.

LSEG and Moody's, BYOL

Enhanced PEP and sanctions data through LSEG and Moody's. Bring your own licence and WeVerify orchestrates it inside the flow, or take access through us per quote.

Enhanced due diligence built in

When rules demand it: deeper PEP levels, relatives and close associates, adverse media and enforcement sources, documented in the same evidence chain.

Ongoing monitoring and audit

Customers are re-screened as lists and registers change. Every rule evaluation, match and analyst decision lands in a sealed, regulator-ready audit trail.

Compliance

Designed for the risk-based approach.

AMLD4/5/6 aligned

The flow maps to customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring duties of the EU anti-money-laundering directives.

FATF risk-based approach

Rules encode a documented, consistent risk-based approach: measure, decide, evidence, exactly as FATF recommendations require.

One evidence chain

Identity, company, authority, TIN, screening and rule decisions are sealed into a single tamper-evident evidence package per customer.

FAQ

Advanced AML and CDD: common questions.

What is rule-driven advanced AML?+
It is customer due diligence executed as a configurable, evidenced workflow: verified identity, verified company, confirmed signing authority, validated TIN and sanctions/PEP screening feed a rules engine that applies your risk policy, escalates to enhanced due diligence when needed and documents every decision for the regulator.
What does BYOL with LSEG and Moody's mean?+
Bring your own licence: if your institution already licenses LSEG (World-Check) or Moody's screening data, WeVerify orchestrates those datasets inside the due-diligence flow under your existing agreement. If not, access can be arranged through WeVerify as part of your quote.
How is this different from the standard AML & PEP screening product?+
Standard screening (€0.50) answers one question: does this name appear on public sanctions lists and baseline PEP data? Advanced AML runs the full due-diligence flow with a rules engine, enhanced data sources via LSEG and Moody’s, risk scoring, escalation and ongoing monitoring, priced per quote because it is configured to your policy.
Is every step evidenced for audits?+
Yes. Each of the six steps produces sealed evidence: identity proof, registry extracts, authority confirmation, TIN validation record, screening reports and the rule evaluations behind every decision, combined into one tamper-evident package per customer.

Due diligence with an audit trail by design.

From identity to enhanced screening in one governed flow. Tailored to your policy.
